Global Working Dog Consortium on Instagram: "After a hours long police standoff at a crowded residential apartment building in downtown San Diego, a suspect is in custody and a K9 was rushed to the ER vet unresponsive. K9 Bowie, a 4 year old San Diego PD SWAT K9, was found not breathing on Tuesday morning after being sent in to apprehend a wanted violent suspect. While Bowie did successfully apprehend the suspect, it is still unclear as to what the suspect did to Bowie during the apprehension. O
