【急症室次緊急及非緊急病人顯著下跌兩成 集中資源救急扶危】 醫院管理局（醫管局）發言人今日（一月二十日）表示，公營醫療收費改革實施以來，公立醫院急症室整體求診人次有所減少，次緊急及非緊急病人數目下跌顯著。而緊急病人接受治療的平均等候時間亦有所下降，反映資源更集中於救急扶危，急症病人救治效率提升。 今年一月一日至十八日，共有85 676名病人前往醫管局轄下18間急症室就診，較去年同期顯著減少近一成半，其中4 889名病人分流類別為危殆及危急，較去年同期上升7.7%；38 155名病人分流為緊急，較去年同期下跌8.4%，次緊急及非緊急則為42 632人，較去年同期大減超過兩成達21.3%。 急症室的定位在於服務危殆、危急及緊急病人，病情較輕或患上偶發性疾病，例如普通傷風感冒，相關人士應該盡量前往家庭醫學診所、私家醫生或私家醫院24小時門診就診。醫管局在公營醫療收費改革實施後，將急症室退款機制恆常化，亦有助非緊急病人在分流後選擇轉往其他醫療機構就診。今年一月一日至十八日，共有952名急症室病人申請退款。 醫管局會繼續密切監察急症室的運作情況，確保急症室集中資源照顧有緊急醫療需要的病人，以達致
