On August 13th, 1961, a studio performance that Nina Simone recorded earlier in the year for “Camera Three" was broadcast across the US. Here's "Zungo," one of the songs Nina and her trio performed for the 1961 televised special. "Zungo" is a Yoruba work song Nina learned from Nigerian drummer Babatunde Olatunji.
